Howard County Court Returns to Phase One

Due to a Howard County Courthouse employee testing positive for COVID-19, Presiding Judge Scott Hayes has returned the Howard County Court to Operating Phase One pursuant to the Orders of the Missouri Supreme Court. Operating Phase One limits the capacity of the courts for in person hearings to ten. In a news release, Judge Hayes says additional positive tests in the next two weeks may close the courts to in person hearings altogether. The public is reminded that the Missouri Supreme Court has mandated the use of face masks for everyone entering, using, and those working in courts statewide. Randolph County Court remains unchanged at Operating Phase Two and that the Court and Randolph County Commission requires face masks for everyone entering the Randolph County Courthouse in Huntsville.
