The Missouri House approved a bill Monday 143-to-1 that is intended to fight human trafficking in the state. State Representative Danny Busick of Newtown says the bill would increase the amount of training for professionals to spot sex trafficking, and several other things.
The measure would require law enforcement officers, prosecutors, nurses, emergency medical technicians and social workers to be trained to recognize signs of human and sex trafficking.
