Representative Peggy McGaugh of Carrollton says the House Budget Committee has worked quickly to change this.

Nearly two-billion dollars in American Rescue Plan Act funding is set to be doled out to Missouri’s school districts. The funding was part of House Bill 3014. McGaugh, a member of the House Budget Committee, says the education funds were tied-in with two other elements

The bill has moved to the Missouri Senate for consideration this week. Missouri has until March 24th to approve the funding for distribution.
