A bill that will be heard by the Missouri House Agriculture Policy Committee Wednesday would mandate that diesel sold in the state be blended with biodiesel. Danny Busick from Newtown is on that committee. He says it will help create a more stable market for biodiesel.

The bill would give the governor some flexibility to relax the standard if the cost of soybeans goes too high. Busick has mixed feelings.

Mike Haffner of Pleasant Hill sponsored the bill. The committee meets at noon tomorrow in House Hearing Room 7.
