Hounds Lose Heartbreaker to Mineral Area

The Moberly Greyhounds nearly erased a seven-point deficit to 19th-ranked Mineral Area in the final minute, getting it to a three-point game with the Cardinals’ Gavin Harris shooting a one-and-one.

Sincere Parker led all scorers with 20. Michael Thomas had 17. Tyren Moore fouled without scoring. The game had eight ties and 11-lead changes, and Moberly led by as many as 11 shortly before halftime. Moberly falls to 8-3, 0-1 in Region 16. Mineral Area is now 7-3, and 1-0 in the region. The Greyhounds are at Three Rivers Saturday night.
