Hounds Baseball Starts Season at Southern Arkansas Tech

The Moberly Greyhounds baseball team plays its first games ever this weekend in a four-game series at another new program, Southern Arkansas Tech. Due to field conditions in Arkansas, the series will now be Saturday and Sunday. The Rockets picked up their first program win Tuesday with a 6-5 win over the Henderson State JV, and are now 1-3 on the year. Hounds Coach Chris Fletcher says his team has an upper hand over a team that has played already.

Fletcher says J.D. Dunn will get the first start.

La Plata’s Tanner Pipes will start the second game.

Cole Iles of Republic and Cooper Swift of Lake St. Louis are Sunday’s projected starters.
