A one-time dairy cattle exhibitor from Cooper County netted a significant goal Thursday afternoon, getting past 30 competitors to become the new Missouri State Fair Queen. Regional Radio’s Kyle Hill has this report from Sedalia:
First runner-up Kaylee Lewis represented the 2020 Livingston County Fair, winning the interview and speech competitions. She received a $1,000 scholarship. Second-runner up was Megan Schneider of Hermann, third runner-up went to Miss Salisbury Steak Festival Sydney Stundebeck, and Miss Missouri Cattlewoman’s Association Avery Schiereck rounded out the top five. Top ten finalist Hanna Johanning, Miss Meramec Community Fair, won the talent contest.
