Holliday Man Seriously Injured in Accident

A Holliday man was seriously injured in an accident on Highway 24, two miles east of Stoutsville, around 1:15 Thursday morning. The State Highway Patrol says 64-year-old Kenneth Smith’s minivan was headed eastbound when it went off the left side of the road, rolled, and hit several trees before landing on its top. He was flown to Columbia. He faces charges of DWI and failure to stay on the right half of the road.
