Hole in Route 22 Bridge

Traffic along Route 22 in Audrain County will continue to flow as Missouri Department of Transportation crews work to repair damages on a bridge east of Centralia that crosses Youngs Creek. MoDOT was notified of the issue early Tuesday morning. A hole in the deck of the westbound lane of the bridge had formed, creating a safety concern for travelers. That lane has been closed and crews will begin making repairs as soon as possible.

The bridge has been inspected and has been cleared for traffic in the eastbound lane. MoDOT will be flagging traffic through the open lane.
