Highway Patrol Searching For Fatal Hit and Run Suspect

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is searching for a suspect in a fatal hit and run that occurred overnight in Boone County. The State Highway Patrol reports 27-year-old Zachary Isbell of Columbia was struck on eastbound I-70 and came to rest in the median. He was pronounced dead at the scene just before 7 this (Sunday) morning. Troopers do not have any information regarding the make or model of the vehicle involved and are asking for the public’s help.
