Higbee School Board Making Plans for ESSER Funds

During its August meeting, the Higbee School Board began finalizing plans for how to use the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Funds due to them. Higbee Superintendent Tyler Walker says the ESSER 2 funds will be used towards employee salary reimbursement.
Walker adds the ESSER 3 funds will be used a little differently.
The timeline on when the Higbee School District will receive the ESSER funds is undetermined. The district must first await for final approval from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
