HIGBEE MAN KILLED IN ACCIDENT ON SOUTH MORLEY

A Higbee man was killed in the single-vehicle accident on South Morley south of Route M about 10:30 Thursday morning. Moberly Police say a pickup driven by 60-year-old Kevin Sullivan from Higbee went off the road and hit a tree. He was trapped in the truck due to extensive damage to the front end, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses say the vehicle had suddenly accelerated and slowly drifted off the east side of the road. Business 63 was closed for about two hours between Routes M and A.
