Higbee Hires Burton as Superintendent

The Higbee School District announced that Superintendent Tyler Walker will leave next summer to become the superintendent at Hallsville, and hired principal and basketball coach Tanner Burton as the next superintendent. Walker said there were a number of reasons for him to head to Hallsville.

The school board selected Burton Monday night.

Both changes take effect on July First.
