Higbee Fair Celebrates Sesquicentennial

This week’s Higbee Fair is the town’s sesquicentennial celebration. Thursday’s opening night includes a pageant, dating game and ATV rodeo. Fair board president Ronni Lions says the ATV rodeo is a new addition this year.

Friday night’s festivities include the opening of a time capsule that has been at city hall for the last 50 years.

Kenny’s Funland Carnival will be open from 5-10 Thursday and Friday and 3-10 Saturday. Armbands are 25 dollars each or 20 dollars if bought in advance.
