The Class 2 Monroe City Panthers upset Class 4 Helias 34-28 last year in Jefferson City, scoring the game-winning touchdown in the closing seconds. The Crusaders make the return trip Friday night ranked 7th in the state, while the Panthers are getting votes. Panthers coach David Kirby says his team isn’t looking past Helias.
