The Spartans produced the only points of the second half. After forcing a Hannibal fumble on their only possession after halftime, Moberly drove 88 yards capped by a three-yard run by Hunter Boots, who finished with 97 yards rushing. Coach McDowell saluted the third ranked Pirates….
Hannibal improves to 7-0 and will try to complete a sweep of the NCMC when Marshall visits next week. Moberly drops to 2-5 overall and 2-2 in the conference. The Spartans will play at Mexico next Friday.
