Hamlin Hired as Interim Macon Softball Coach

Lea Ann Hamlin has been hired as the interim softball coach at Macon High School. The job opened last week when Jennifer Morris had to step down due to recent health issues. Hamlim discussed her interest filling the role….

Lea Ann Hamlin is leading her first Macon softball practices this week. In a phone call to the station, Morris told us she is taking the year off to deal with her health issues, with hopes of returning to the diamond to coach next year.

The Tigerettes are scheduled to open the season August 31st at Centralia.
