Hallsville’s Justin Conyers Hired by Hickman

Justin Conyers is heading to his alma mater. After spending the past five years as the head coach of the Hallsville Indians, Conyers has been tabbed to lead the Columbia Hickman Kewpies in 2024. Conyers previously coached in Columbia as the first-ever head coach at Battle High School. He led the Spartans to a state title in 2014. Conyers took over the Indians in 2019 and led the program to back-to-back district titles in his first two years. He compiled a 37-21 record during his five-year tenure. The 2023 season was his lone losing year, with the Indians dropping their last five games to finish 4-6. Conyers takes over a Hickman program that went 0-10 this past season and hasn’t had a winning season since 2012.
