Hallsville’s Gavynn Carpenter Named Shelton Seed Wrestler of the Week

Hallsville senior Gavynn Carpenter is our Shelton Seed Wrestler of the Week. Carpenter took first at the Midwest Shootout in Bettendorf, Iowa. To do so, he defeated three state-ranked Iowa wrestlers and one state-ranked Illinois wrestler. Carpenter is currently the second-ranked wrestler at 150 in Class 2.
