Hallsville Football Looks to Build on 2019 Success
Last season was a historic one for the Hallsville Indians football program. The Indians compiled a 10-3 record and won their first ever district title. However, to achieve similar success in 2020 the Indians will have to fill the shoes of 16 seniors that they graduated last year. Hallsville coach Justin Conyers says several young players are ready to fill the void.
With Cobb running the offense, Conyers anticipates the Indians will be more balanced offensively this season.
Hallsville lost only one game in the Tri-County Conference last season, to perennial power Blair Oaks. Conyers says he expects every conference game to be a challenge this season.
The Indians are scheduled to open the season Friday when they host Father Tolton. You can hear from coach Conyers, and the rest of our area coaches Thursday night on the Kickoff Show, beginning at 5:30 on Superstation KRES.
