Gwynn Looking to Build CCCB Soccer Program
Chase Gwynn was hired last month as the new men’s soccer coach at Central Christian College of the Bible in Moberly. He will be tasked with rebuilding a Saints program that hasn’t played a game since 2021. Gwynn describes his recruiting plans.
Gwynn is inheriting a program that went 4-9-0 in 2021 before going on its two-year hiatus. Gwynn says he’s looking for the right type of players for CCCB.
Gwynn played college soccer at Wheaton College in Illinois before transferring to Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts for his final two years. He went on to have a short-lived professional career with Chattanooga FC before turning to coaching.
As an assistant coach at Gordon College, Gwynn helped guide the Scots to an 8-2-6 record this past year. Gwynn says it was an eye-opening experience coaching at the school he played at.
CCCB will be Gwynn’s first-ever head coaching job.
