Gun Preparation Key to Dove Season

With dove season less than a month away, Shelby County Conservation Agent Kevin Lockard says now is a good time to make sure your gun is ready to go.

Lockard says it’s also a good idea to re-familiarize yourself with your shotgun before using it.

The dove season begins September 1st and runs through November 29th.
