Greyhounds Open 2021 Friday Against National Park College

More than two-and-a-half months later than usual, the 21st-ranked Moberly Greyhounds start the season Friday in West Plains against Division Two National Park College. Last year the team was 27-6, and qualified for the national tournament. Coach Pat Smith starts his 12th season as the coach of the Hounds.

Two players return from last year’s team.

Jones had 12 points and just over four assists per game last year. Also back is Cortez Mosley, who had 13.7 points and 5.1 rebounds per contest.

Several transfers will also give the Greyhounds depth.

And Dezi Jones is getting some talented help in the backcourt.

J.B. Connoley will have the pregame at 4:50, tip at 5 on Information Radio KWIX and centralmoinfo.com.
