GREYHOUNDS FALL TO IOWA WESTERN

The Moberly Greyhounds lost for the first time this season, falling to Iowa Western 98-96 in Sedalia Saturday. The Greyhounds led by as many as 16 in the first half before Iowa Western came back to take its first lead in the final six minutes. Kaleb Thornton’s runner in the closing seconds proved to be the difference.

Eddie Creal lead MACC with 21 points. The Greyhounds are now 4-1, and return to Sedalia Friday afternoon to play Butler of Kansas at 3.
