Greyhounds Beat Southeastern 71-67

Dezi Jones hit two free throws in the final two seconds to seal the Moberly Greyhounds 71-67 win at 17th-ranked Southeastern Saturday night. Jones had 14, and Eddie Creal had a game-high 16. Moberly had just taken the lead for only the second time on the night with just over two minutes left.

The Greyhounds are now 14-4, and the Blackhawks fall to 14-4.

The Lady Hounds won at Illinois Central 75-50 earlier Saturday. Chatori Tyler led all scorers with 16 points. The Lady Hounds are 13-3.

Both Moberly teams are at St. Louis Tuesday night. We’ll have the doubleheader on KWIX starting at 4:50.
