Greyhounds Announce Three More Incoming Transfers

The Moberly Greyhounds announced the addition of three more Division One transfers for the upcoming season. Head coach Pat Smith says with more than 14 hundred players in the transfer portal this offseason, he felt the need to make the most of the available talent. One of the signees is Jimmy Bell, Jr., a 6’10”, 270 pound forward from St. Louis University.

Another is Bol Akot, a 6’2 guard from Quinnipiac, which is where former Greyhound Dezi Jones is headed to next season.

JoJo Toppin is a 6’6″, 190 pound guard from Brooklyn, New York, who played for Georgia State last season after playing for the University of Georgia as a freshman in 2018-2019.

They join previously announced Division One transfers, Rashad Weekly-McDaniels, a 6’1″, 200 pound point guard from Central Michigan; and Miles Mendes, 6’6″, 225 pound forward from Troy.
