Grant Funding Available for Project Prom, Graduation Lock-In Events

Local schools that hold student lock-in events for Prom or High School graduation are eligible for a grant from the Northeast Coalition for Roadway Safety. Up to 20 schools that include a presentation or activity educating students on highway safety issues will receive 200 dollars each to assist with event expenses such as location rental, food or entertainment. The Northeast Coalition will accept grant applications now through February 15th. Interested schools and/or their sponsors can submit the online grant application by visiting the Northeast Coalition’s website.
