The Grand River Bridge Resiliency Project has received a RAISE (Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity) Transportation Discretionary Grant. The RAISE Grant program funding was approved by Congress last year and signed into law by President Trump. The grant is worth over 17-million dollars and will fund the replacement of the Grand River Railroad Bridge west of Brunswick. The bridge failed when it was struck by debris during the October 2019 flood.
