Grace Billington Becomes Lady Spartan All-Time Leading Scorer, Moberly Avenges Lone Loss

In avenging its lone loss of the season with a 69-46 win over Centralia, Moberly’s Grace Billington made history.

Centralia coach Megan Brinkmann praised Billington.

Moberly led 14-11 after one quarter and used a barrage of threes to start creating distance.

The Lady Spartans outscored Centralia 22-9 in that second quarter. Asa Fanning finished with a game-high 21 points and was named Moberly’s Co-MVP of the game alongside Billington. For the second straight game, Vestal’s 10-1 Lady Spartans had four score in double figures.

Centralia was led by Braylin Brunkhorst’s 12 points. Freshman Ryenn Gordon was named the Lady Panthers MVP with a 10-point, six-rebound performance. Brinkmann said it was an uncharacteristic night.

Centralia falls to 9-3.
