GLVC Tournament Time In Edwardsville For The Truman Bulldogs

The 3rd seed Truman men’s basketball will try to solidify their resume for an NCAA Tournament bid when they play 6th seed Indianapolis in the quarterfinals of the GLVC Tournament on the campus of SIU-Edwardsville Friday night. The Bulldogs won at UIndy in early February 89-73. Coach Jeff Horner says both teams have incentive to beat the other….

The Bulldogs are 20-8 and come into the tournament 3rd in the Midwest Regional Rankings. The 2nd place team in the region, Ferris State, lost in the first round of the GLIAC Tournament. You can hear the broadcast Friday night on Superstation KRES starting with the Truman Tipoff at 8:15.

The Truman women will try to complete a sweep of Lewis in the 4-5 matchup at the GLVC Tournament to lead off play Friday. The Bulldogs beat the Flyers 83-75 at home and 74-61 on the road. Coach Theo Dean lists the keys to beating Lewis a third time….
