Georgia Looking to Win SEC East

The Georgia Bulldogs finished 8-2 a year ago, capped off with a 24-21 win over Cincinnati in the Peach Bowl and a final ranking of 7th in the AP Poll. Kirby Smart heads into his sixth season as the head coach in Athens. He says his team needs to be better to win the Eastern Division this year.

First-team all-Preseason SEC senior defensive lineman is back, after some projected him to leave for the NFL. Smart said Davis was deliberate with his thought process.

Davis is from Charlotte, which is where the Bulldogs open the season September 4th, against Clemson.

Davis says he’s back to improve on pass rushing.

Junior quarterback J.T. Daniels talked about the opener.

In four games last year, Daniels threw for more than 12 hundred yards, with ten touchdowns and only two picks. The Bulldogs start conference play Week 3 at home against South Carolina, and host Mizzou November 6th.
