Future Westran Superintendent Harvey Excited to Lead Alma Mater

The Westran School Board named Mark Harvey the district’s next superintendent when Mike Nagel announced his retirement.

Harvey previously replaced Nagel as Westran High School principal four years ago.

Harvey reflects on his career growth.

The Westran graduate worked five years at Moberly and one at Boonville. Harvey then returned to Westran as a teacher and coach before he served five years as the school’s elementary principal.
