Last week, the Macon School District named high school principal Dr. Brent Hodge as its next superintendent. Hodge will replace Scott Jarvis, who is retiring after six years as Macon’s superintendent. Hodge says he wanted to continue to be a part of the district’s growth.

Hodge has been Macon’s high school principal for five years. Hodge shares his administrative philosophy.

Hodge adds he expects the transition to be smooth.

Hodge will take over as Superintendent July 1st.
