Fulton Wants Out of NCMC

A member could be leaving the North Central Missouri Conference in the near future. The Fulton School Board voted unanimously this week to send an official letter of request to become a member of the Tri-County Conference, and will accept an invitation if offered. The Tri-County Conference’s seven members would have to review that request, and it would take five of the seven members to approve adding any new members. Fulton is hoping to join the conference for the 2024-2025 school year. If the move happens, the NCMC would be left with five schools. The NCMC’s athletic directors have been discussing options for the future. The current members of the Tri-County Conference are Blair Oaks, Boonville, California, Eldon, Hallsville, Osage and Southern Boone. Versailles announced late last year it’s plan to leave the Tri-County Conference.
