Fulton Police Identify Victim and Suspect in Monday Shooting

Fulton Police have now announced the identities of the two men who are dead following a home invasion in the 300 block of West Ninth Monday night. 58-year-old Mark Chan Lee of Fulton died at a Columbia hospital after being shot. The suspect, 45-year-old Willie M. Thompkins of Fulton, was found dead Tuesday. Thompkins apparently tried to flee the scene after being shot. A gun was found next to his body. A 33-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound in the leg, and a woman was physically assaulted.
