Fulton Man Arrested for Attempted Rape and Sodomy

A Fulton man is being held in the Morgan County jail on charges of attempted statutory rape and attempted statutory sodomy. The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control reports 30-year old Benjamin L. Roderick was arrested Thursday after an investigation into his alleged sexual communication with a juvenile. The investigation was conducted by members of the Division of Drug and Crime Control, Stover Police Department, and the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office. Roderick was arrested at his residence, located on 9th Street, in Fulton.

The Morgan County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office formally charged Roderick with attempted statutory rape-second degree and attempted statutory sodomy-second degree. He is being held at the Morgan County Jail, with a bond of $50,000.
