FUENTES NAMED SEC OVERALL PLAYER AND SETTER OF THE WEEK

Mizzou redshirt sophomore setter Andrea Fuentes was recognized as the SEC Volleyball Overall Player and Setter of the Week. It is her seventh career honor from the league office. She claimed both awards September 16th, and was the Setter of the Week the week before that. This past weekend in sweeps at Arkansas and against Mississippi State, Fuentes produced 89 total assists while the Tigers’ offense collectively tallied 102 kills on .380 hitting. Her 51 assists against the Bulldogs were the most by an SEC player in a three-set match this season.
