The USDA’s Farm Service Agency sent out ballots last week to eligible farmers to vote on the members of their county committees. FSA Administrator Richard Fordyce says the committees play a pivotal role in directing funds for the agency’s many programs.

Fordyce says over 8,700 producers serve across 2,200 committees nationwide.

Fordyce says farmers who did not receive a ballot but believed they should, can go into their local FSA office. Ballots are due to the FSA by December 2nd.
