Friendly Border War Food Drive To Get Friendlier

FFA Chapters taking in the Western Farm Show this Friday now have another reason to load their vans and buses with canned goods. Show manager Ken Dean says their food drive dubbed the “Friendly Border War” will get even friendlier for chapters on both sides of the state line.
Donations to the food drive go to the Harvesters Community Food Bank. Dean adds that the farm show is one of the more popular gatherings of FFA chapters in the region.
The 59th Western Farm Show runs Friday through Sunday at the American Royal complex in Kansas City, Missouri. Tickets and show information are available on the show’s website.
