Show-Me State standouts had an impressive debut in Missouri’s 94-55 win over the Truman State women Thursday night at Mizzou Arena. Aijha Blackwell from St. Louis scored 25 points and Hayley Frank from Strafford added 22 to pace four Tigers in double figures.

Mizzou scored the first 16 points of the game and later added 25 unanswered in the second quarter to build a 55-19 advantage by halftime. Truman was only outscored 39-36 in the second half. Coach Theo Dean…

Coach Dean got 14 points from Sloane Totta and Maddie Re just missed a double-double against the Division 1 opponent with 12 rebounds and eight points.

The Truman women will open the season November 9th and 10th at a conference crossover challenge playing Wisconsin-Parkside and Ursuline. The Mizzou women will open November 5th at home against Western Illinois.
