Franklin Man Seriously Hurt in Accident Near Higbee

A Franklin man was seriously injured in an accident on Route B, two miles east of Higbee, around 6:55 this morning. The State Highway Patrol says 75-year-old Charles Ivy swerved to avoid an oncoming vehicle, overcorrected, ran off the left side of the road and hit a tree. He was taken to Columbia.
