Franklin Grateful For Time Served As Sturgeon Superintendent

Sturgeon Superintendent Dr. Melia Franklin announced that she will retire at the end of the school year. Franklin assumed the role in the summer of 2021.
Franklin was the catalyst of initiatives for the district during her time as superintendent.
Franklin says her retirement is a family decision.
Former Moberly superintendent and current Sturgeon teacher Dr. Dustin Fanning will be the next superintendent.
