Four people were injured inside a home after a car crashed into it as part of a two-vehicle accident in Mexico. The accident occurred at around 5:20 Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Buchanan and Morris streets. According to the Mexico Public Safety Department, a 2005 Mercury driven by 35-year old Steven Stockdall of Jefferson City was northbound on Morris when he collided with a 2006 Buick driven by 19-year old Shelby Ludovicy of Mexico. Despite the collision, Stockdall’s vehicle kept going until it crashed into the front of a home causing significant structural and property damage. Four people were inside the home at the time of the accident and were injured. They were identified as 33-year old Mary Schaefer, 17-year old Dalasha Dorsey, 20-year old Tristan Jones, and 25-year old Anntravea Dorsey. All four were treated for their injuries and have since been released. Both Stockdall and Ludovicy were uninjured.
