Former KWIX-KRES Sales Manager Dies

A former Sales Manager at our KWIX and KRES radio stations 96-year old Laura Lisle died Wednesday. She was the manager of the Singer Sewing Center. Upon its closing, Lisle started working for Jerrell Shepherd at KWIX and KRES moving up to the position of sales manager, which at the time was believed to be the first of its kind in the radio industry. She retired from the radio stations in 1986.

The Moberly service for 96-year-old Laura Lisle will be Monday at 3:00 at Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Monday from 1:30 until the 3:00 service time at the funeral home. Committal prayer and entombment will be at Resurrection Mausoleum at Oakland Cemetery.
