Former Fayette City Administrator Explains Resignation; City Says Future of the Position is TBD

Former Fayette City Administrator Tyler Griffith resigned in June after about 11 months on the job.

Centralmoinfo.com asked Griffith why he suspects the city asked him to resign.

Fayette fired Griffith’s predecessor Robin Triplett last year for a failure to submit the 2018 financial report to the state. City Hall and Utilities Assistant Rebecca Yung says Fayette doesn’t have immediate plans to replace Griffith.

Highlights of Griffith’s tenure included a renegotiated water contract and refinanced sewer bonds. Fayette also executed sewer, sidewalk, and splash park projects.
