Former Centralia girls basketball coach Becca Schemmer explains last week’s resignation.
Schemmer says it was a difficult decision.
Schemmer guided the Lady Panthers for five years.
Centralia finished with 16 wins each of the last two seasons.
The Lady Panthers return four starters next year.
Centralia closed its season with a 33-31 loss to Macon in districts. Schemmer secured four KRES All-Star selections as a Westran player.
