Fletcher To Lead Hounds Baseball

Moberly Area Community College has announced that William Woods head coach Chris Fletcher will be the head coach of the new Greyhounds baseball team. Fletcher, a 2008 graduate of Moberly High School, was named the Owls head coach two years ago. His teams went 35-26. He had also played two seasons for the Owls and was an assistant coach for three more.

Fletcher was also an assistant at Truman State in 2015. He says he’s looking for players with “blue collar characteristics.”

Athletic Director Pat Smith said he was the best man for the job.

Smith said one story really stood out.

The baseball Hounds will play their first game in the spring of 2023. Find our interviews with both on the Magic City Sports Talk page at centralmoinfo.com.
