Last week, Moberly Area Community College announced that William Woods head coach Chris Fletcher will be the head coach of the new Greyhounds baseball team. He describes his style as “competitive, blue-collar hustle.”
Fletcher says the key is to sell recruits on preparing them for the right four-year school after their time in Moberly.
Although he won’t have a team on the field this spring, Fletcher says he will be competing.
Fletcher is looking to bring two-year baseball to the area.
The baseball Hounds will play their first game in the spring of 2023.
