Five Teens Suspected in Mexico Thefts

Mexico Public Safety says a group of five teen boys, ages 12 to 16, are responsible for a vehicle theft and thefts from other vehicles in the northern part of town early Thursday morning. Around 3:25, a resident alerted the department to suspicious activity, and officers had found a number of vehicles had been rummaged through. Two of the teens were taken into custody later in the day, and three others were released to their guardians.
