Five people were arrested Thursday as a result of an investigation by the East Central Drug Task Force, Audrain County Sheriff’s Office and Mexico Department of Public Safety. A narcotic-related search warrant was conducted in the 400 block of East Orange Street in Mexico. Meth, heroin and commonly used illegal substance distribution items were found. 38-year-old Renea Hill, 30-year-old Courtney Harper, 26-year-old Hayden Sample, 21-year-old Cheyenne Hicks, all of Mexico, and 38-year-old Kevin Olsson of Perry were all arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Harper had additional charges for oustanding arrest warrants from Audrain and Callaway counties.
